Dallas authorities would really like to discuss with a Dallas Cowboys participant about a crime that really was depicted on Trackdown all week. No one will be prosecuted for a fatal killing that started in the early hours of March 18, outside a bar on Dallas ‘Lower Greenville Avenue. Attorney Barry Sorrels stated to FOX 4 that Dallas Cowboys wideout Kelvin Joseph used to be resting in the suspect’s engine when the shots have been fired, but Sorrels appended that Joseph would not be the murderer and it was apprehended. Sorrels told reporters Joseph “found himself in a situation that escalated without his knowledge or consent.” The Cowboys released a statement that they are knowledgeable that Joseph is involved in the death investigative process.
The Dallas Cowboys are aware of the tragic incident that occurred in Dallas on March 18. First and foremost, our hearts go out to Mr. Ray’s family and loved ones. The organization is aware of Kelvin Joseph’s possible connection to this incident. We are in contact with Dallas law enforcement and have alerted the NFL office. We have no further comment at this time,” the Cowboys said in a statement.
Dallas law enforcers have also not stated if they have asked Joseph, but the Dallas Morning News mentioned that law enforcers spoke to another Joseph in connection with the killing. The 22-year-old was a second-round pick in the draft by the Cowboys in 2021. He played pro soccer at both LSU and Kentucky. During his rookie years with Dallas, Joseph performed more and more on linebackers, but still was a starting center eventually for the year.
