The jury in the double murder trial of disbarred attorney Alex Murdaugh saw videos showing the defendant enjoying the company of his son, Paul.
And one was taken just hours before Paul and his mother Maggie were video to death on the family’s property.Murdaugh is on trial for the died of his wife and son.
shows Alex standing beside a tree at the Murdaughs’ Moselle property in Colleton County, with the tree flopping over as Paul is heard laughing on camera.
Another video shows Alex at a birthday party, with Paul being the one to bring out his birthday cake.
A third video, the prosecution says, puts Alex at the scene of the crime just minutes before his wife and son were died.
