Join Pakistan Marine Academy As Nautical or Engineering Cadet(60th Batch; Session 2022-2023).

Eligibilty:

Unmarried, male Pakistan national

Age: 20 years till 31st December 2021

For ex FATA /Gilgit-Baltistan /AJK/Balochistan not more than 21 years.

Height: 5 feet 4 inches

Qualifications:

The candidates who are applying should have passed F.Sc or O/A Level with Physics,Chemistry & Mathematics having at least 55% marks;

Candidates who have O/A Level degree are required to submit Equivalence Certificate;FSC A Level Part-Il appearing candidates with at least 60%in Part-1 can eligible to apply. May be they have to provide Hope

If a candidate fails to attain 55% marks in his F.Sc after providing concern certificate, than those candidates sure to be disqualified at any stage of their selection process or consider discharged during his training.

Candidates are given permission that they can register themselves by visiting Pakistan Marine Academy Website which is given

Prospectus & application forms are available with PMA Admission Office and on PMA website.

Submit application form along with pay order/bank draft of Rs, 2500 account of Pakistan Marine Academy, Karachi, National Bank of Pakistan (NBP).

PMA Branch Code-0239. Candidates who are applying under Self Finance Scheme (SFS) are directed to submit additional pay order/bank draft for Rs. 300,000/- along with the application form called SFS fee will be refunded in special case of selected on open-merit.

Selection:

Test center may be Abbottabad, Gwadar, Karachi,Lahore, Multan, Muzaffarabad (AJK), Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi.Sukkur through hired Testing Services.Minimum 45% marks are required to qualify in entrance test by department.

Medical examination of Those Candidates who are short listed will be conducted at designated Army or Navy or PAF Hospitals.Final selection will be done and considered in order of merit which include final interview and PET .

Required Time:

Running One Mile (1.6 km) 08:30 Minutes Push-ups 10 Repetitions 02 Minutes Sit-ups 10 Repetitions 02 Minutes Chin-ups 02 Repetitions 02 Minutes.

Education/Training & Degree:

For selected candidates two Years residential training will be conducted at PMA;

Also Associate Degree in Nautical Science and Marine Engineering is required by NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi with Certificates of IMO .

Here are 37 Fully paid scholarships offered by department the the Cadets;

33 need-based scholarships also sponsored by Ministry of Maritime Affairs and

04 need-based Scholarships also given by Global Radiance Group ofCompanies.

WHO CANNOT APPLY:

Submitting tampered academic certificates/mark-sheets/documents+ Concealment of information in the application form or submitting incomplete application or providing false information.

Candidates who are withdrawn from any academy/ training institution including that of Armed Forces on disciplinary grounds Dismissed/Removed/ Debarred/Resigned from Government Service including Armed Forces.

Those who are Convicted by a court of law for doing offence and they also involved in moral turpitude are Non-Combination of Subjects and Diploma holder (DAE) are not called eligible.
