Abbie Quinnen, 24, has revealed how one of the hardest things after suffering third-degree burns was coming to terms with her own reflection. The girlfriend of former Strictly Come Dancing star AJ Pritchard detailed her emotional reaction to seeing herself for the first time, after being involved in a freak accident at home while filming a YouTube video.

Abbie shared how she has suffered abuse on Instagram since the incident, and admitted it had been especially difficult to take in after struggling to accept her changed appearance. Abbie recalled her hair catching on fire while flames spread across her body, as she dropped down to the floor and rolled around in an attempt to put out the fire.
