Travis Scott has broken his silence about his recent split with Kylie Jenner in an effort to shut down rumors that he cheated on the reality star.

On Friday, October 4, the Astroworld rapper released a statement via his Instagram Story to clear up any speculation and let everyone know how difficult it’s been to have fake stories about his relationship spread on the internet.

To recap: The couple, who share one-year-old daughter Stormi Webster, is reportedly taking some time off from their two-year relationship.

People reported Jenner and Scott “still have some trust issues, but their problems have stemmed more from the stress of their lifestyles,” which led to speculation that Scott had been unfaithful.

Some reports claim Scott was cheating with model Rojean Kar, who has since also denied the infidelity rumors.

According to E!, Kar posted her own message on Instagram, writing, “None of these rumors are true, it’s just the internet creating a false narrative.

Please stop spreading lies & leave him, her & I alone because it’s affecting real lives. Thank you.”Which brings us to Scott’s statement:

“It’s really affecting when u see false things said about u once again these false stories about me cheating are just simply not true. Focusing on life, music, and family at this moment is what’s real.”

His message echoes Jenner’s comments from last week, in which she clarified where she and Scott stand following their split.

“Travis and I are on great terms and our main focus right now is Stormi. Our friendship and our daughter is priority.” she penned on Twitter.
