Officers from George Town Police Station arrived on the scene and were informed a couple in another villa had also been found unresponsive and all three were later declared died.

Health officials said the symptoms experienced by the Chiarellas and other victims at the resort’s villa could have been caused by carbon monoxide poisoning.
The couple has three children and six grandchildren.
