Ellen DeGeneres issued a heartfelt statement following the death of her friend and longtime colleague Stephen “Twitch” Boss, who died at age 40.
Boss began DJing on “Ellen” in 2014 and remained on the daytime talk series until it ended in 2022. In 2020, DeGeneres named him an executive producer on the series.

Stephen Laurel “tWitch” Boss September 29, 1982 – December 13, 2022 was an American freestyle hip hop dancer, choreographer, actor, television producer, and television personality.
In 2008, he finished in second place on the American version of So You Think You Can Dance.
From 2014 until the show’s conclusion in 2022, he was featured on The Ellen DeGeneres Show as a co-host and he was also a co-executive producer of the program.
He was featured in Ellen’s Game of Games as a sidekick to DeGeneres. Between 2018 and 2020 he and his wife, Allison Holker, hosted Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings on Freeform and Disney.

On December 13, 2022, Boss’ wife, Allison Holker, informed officials at the Los Angeles Police Department that he had left their home without taking his car, which was unusual behavior.

According to the LA County Medical Examiner. The LA County Coroner’s Office concluded their examination and published the report on his death on Wednesday. CNN has reached out to the LAPD and the LA County Coroner for comment.
